Becky Curls, L/CPO, Co-Owner

Becky is a passionate O&P practitioner who came across the industry when considering medical school. Hearing someone talk about prosthetics for 45 minutes one day was all it took to change course. She enjoys being a part of the healthcare team, helping each patient meet their potential and get the best outcomes. Her least favorite thing is to see any device go to the closet rather than be used and will work to ensure the most optimal fit and function for each patient, whether it be a prosthesis or orthosis. Being a business owner allows her to have flexibility to provide care that holds true to her values and provide a place of employment that does the same. Outside of work she loves spending time with her family, be it travelling, at the ballpark, pool or beach!

Andrea Dean, L/CO, Co-Owner

Andrea is a Certified Orthotist, licensed in the state of Florida.  She has been active in the field since 2005 and earned her degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science with an Emphasis in Sports Medicine from Florida State University. 

During this time, she completed a two-year internship working with Division I Collegiate athletes as a Student Athletic Trainer specializing in the prevention, management and recovery of sports related injuries. 

Andrea became licensed in the state of Florida and a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer shortly after graduating from FSU.  She worked her way into the field of O&P by starting as an Orthotic Fitter, and then attending Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where she earned her Certification in Orthotics. She enjoys working with all age groups and feels it is important to treat a patient as a whole to deliver more effective, patient-centered care.

Jennifer Christoforo, Office Manager

Jen has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management in Healthcare. Always greeting people with a smile and an attention to detail makes her an invaluable asset at Bold City Orthotics and Prosthetics. Her background includes acupuncture, mental health, and corporate wellness. When she is not at work, she enjoys time with her husband and their four children. She is a pet owner with a 90-pound lap dog named Shaymus and a moody cat named Schnook. With a love of travel and exploration, trip planning is one of her most enjoyed activities. On weekends you will find her working on projects around the home or by the water whether it is a pool, lake, creek or the ocean. Where there is water, there is Jen!
